Rural Sanitation (In Hardoi and Shahjahanpur district):
Under this head SGVS has done a tremendous work. In Ambedkar gram panchayat (228) SGVS Has motivated the villagers towards the importance of having a toilet in the home. This was supported by film shows and making the team to facilitate the session to spread this message among them. This work has also replicated in the shahjenhpur, Here 195 gram panchayat were covered by order of District Panchayat Raj Adhikari ,Shahjehanpur and Hardoi.

With Care-India SGVS has worked on RACHNA(Reproductive and Child Health ,Nutrition and AIDS Program) and Chayan Program.
The main activities include capacity building of ICDS and Health front line functionaries. Sector strengthening ,Behavior change communication .This include the training of district training team (DTT) & Block training team(BTT) focused on G&S ,sector strengthening ,monitoring tools etc. Training of change agent (CAs) on (FP/RTI/STI/HIV), training of RHCA (Reproductive Health Change Agent). On demonstration Sites (DS) and Replication Sites (RS).
Training of AWWS/ANMS for the understanding of sectors, monthly meetings, draw a block level roster for sector meeting.
In BCC direct monitoring of all folk media, ensured distribution of print materials, monitored hailer message, organized innovative events,wall writing ,promotion of graduation blocks etc.
Field visit in 6 ICDS blocks comprising 1080 Angawadis .focus and frequency of home visits & interaction with ANM of the areas.
Ensured AWW is able to trace the clients, availability of free supplies made Aanganwadis the depot of Social Marketing & supply of IEC materials .Monitored BSPM activities,organization of Nutrition & Health Day(NHDs) 4 per month, and established referral linkages with private sectors.Addressed gender & sexuality, monitored commodity etc. SGVS has done a good work in this field and got the appreciation from Care-India for the same.

The SGVS has worked in urban & rural levels both for the betterment & benefit of women, children, youth and formers.
SISTER CONCERN:-
The SGVS has its own sister concern named “Mahila Kaushal Vikas Prashikshan Kendra “(Women skill development training center). This is our pride that it become started in 1998 to Hardoi and now it is in 8 district the name Shahajahanpur, sitapur Lakhimpur, Baharaich, Balrampur, Basti and Gorakhpur This center has it's headquarter at Hardoi & a branch at sant kabir nagar.
This is devoted & committed towards the income generating activities. Many families have developed their skill attending this centre & have become self-dependent. More than 800-1000 women got the benefit out of it.
Future planning of SGVS: -
Looking at the timely need of the present the SGVS is going to adopt the field of HIV/AIDS & Education & health mostly women & child has a keen interest to work in the field .also it shall keep continue it support & effort for the upliftment of the women and children/youth & Adosolent .
